The third crewed Hab module arrived today. Hab Alpha 3 arrived with ten new team members. Ten is generally thought to be the optimum number for transit, although it would be possible to carry twelve crew if necessary.

The landing took place at dawn and the crew were transferred to Alpha Base during the day on three separate trips. Two existing team members will stay overnight before the Hab is moved to the base where it will be linked to the five existing modules completing the first accommodation block.
